Well I did it! I’m a college grad…who would’ve thought?! Man what an amazing 18 months it has been, I have met people who if I were to categorize are the handful of the best people on earth. We’ve been through fights, bad talk, laughs, hurt, enjoyment, agony, and just plain old fashioned good fucking times. Alright alright, I just thought I would give my graduating class a shout out, enough of this mushy stuff. Generally when you graduate college you can expect change to head your way right? After all, you are entering the “real” world depending on what your version of reality would be. Things have been coming my way thank god, not complaining. I have been getting jobs (although unpaid) that I am making contacts through. Also, the critical responses that i have been getting on behalf of my thesis film are not bad at all. One of the course directors at the school wanted a copy of the film to put in the schools website as an example of one of the best student films, I had to decline due to the rules of submissions at festivals require it not to be on a social medium, such as facebook, Youtube, ViVo and any other sites….still the offer was flattering. I gave him a copy because he wanted to submit it to some Exposure Screening taking place next year…we’ll see how that goes.

In the past two weeks on two short films, and another short which can potentially be a web series. I got an offer from the school to work on a short for the G4 network (cant disclose the title) but had to decline because of something that happened to me that was like being hit by a huge bus. Im not going to bore you with details but it was a little more than devastating. Throughout life a series of unfortunate events occur that although devastating do in fact build character and build knowledge, But what if SOME of these so called devistating series of unfortunate events are just plain and simply devastating? It breaks your heart when you make internal progress and by internal progress I mean progress in your personality, your ambitions, your temper and progress on your over all self comes crashing right down.
